About the Area

Located towards the North of the beautiful County of Northumberland, Low Hedgeley Farm Bed and Breakfast is situated at the foot of the Cheviot Hills with the farmhouse facing south overlooking the River Breamish. Northumberland is England's least populated County and offers a stunning landscape and an unrivalled sense of freedom. Views from the farm to the west take in the famous Northumberland National Park, Hedgehope Hill and The Cheviot.

The Towns of Alnwick and Wooler are just a short scenic drive away. Wooler and its range of shops and restaurants is just six miles to the North and Alnwick (famous for its Castle and Gardens) is approximately 8 miles across beautiful countryside. There are a huge range of attractions nearby to be explored when you stay at Low Hedgeley Farm Bed and Breakfast.

The Cheviot Hills form one of the most dramatic landscapes in the British Isles providing miles of great walks and superb bird watching. The Breamish and Harthope Valleys near Wooler are delightful settings which provide examples of the unique character of the Cheviots.
